A dynamic company in Jerusalem is looking for an independent contractor senior mobile app developer to lead the development of Android apps.
Apps will mainly comprise user interfaces integrated with network connected consumer electronic devices.

Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and skills:
· Ability to lead Android app development
· Strong OO design and programming skills in Java (J2EE/ J2ME)
· Familiar with the Android SDK
· Quickly master and utilize existing open source code
· Quickly master and utilize new libraries
· Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects
· Work together with firmware developers to manage the firmware/app
data interfaces
· Working with another mobile app developer leading other platform
development
· Deliver across the entire app life cycle: concept, design, build,
deploy, test, release to app stores and support
· Communicating in English at a high level (reading, writing,
speaking)
· Ability to work under pressure
· Team player, self-motivated and good attitude

skills:
· Proven commercial software development experience
· Published examples of mobile applications on the App store or the
Android market
· Knowledge in information architecture, human computer interaction
and usability design principles
· Knowledge of the rosjava library
· High-level knowledge of Linux and the Linux Shell
· Ability to lead iOS development
· Ability to play a supporting role in iOS development
