"You will be part of the FTL Automation group responsible for development and support of applications and middleware technologies used in development of Intel FW and SW products. As a Sr. Software Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for enhancing the SW and FW development role by designing code highly scalable and quality tools which can be used by Intel's SW\FW development and validation groups. Your responsibilities may be diverse during different stage of produce life cycle. The job scope include participate in product concept readiness proving by implementing prototype, or debugging and analyzing production data, actively co-work with other engineers in design review and product implementation, plan, design, implement, deliver and refine product features with the team, deliverable break down and progress tracking. Work closely with colleagues or customers cross organization or cross GEO to collect requirement, solve technical issue or share knowledge. Qualifications The candidate should have following qualifications: Must possess BSc (MSc advantage) in Computer Science (or related BS/MS degree in Computer field) and at least 7 years of proved work experience in software development. Your daily responsibilities will involve extensive code development in VS2010/2012 using C# and C\C++, various advanced Microsoft .NET technologies side by side with development in native languages. Responsibilities beyond code development will include compliance to coding standards, code reviews, unit testing standards, UI automation testing, and participation in extreme programming, scrum agile practices and principles. You will own definition and enhancement of test automation architecture and workflow. Play a senior role in the creation of development tooling and test automation frameworks and poses end to end ownership of feature enhancements and bug tracking. • Minimum of 2 years of aggregate hands on software development experience with .Net C# mandatory. • Minimum of 2 years of aggregate hands on software development experience with C\C++ mandatory. • Proved experience in OOD, DP, SOA, multi process/threading application experience mandatory. • Knowledge and development experience on Windows mandatory and Linux or Android will be an advantage. • Test Automation development and development of automated software test environments will be an advantage. • Real time programming embedded SW or drivers' development experience on Win7/8 and/or Linux an advantage. Knowledge of Real-Time environments, embedded systems is a plus. • Experience and development over I2C, SPI, UART, PCI and GPIO protocols will be an advantage. • Experience with Network programming TCP/IP; HTTP; SOAP protocols will be an advantage. • Programming skills in one or more additional languages like Python, or Perl etc will be an advantage. • Knowledge in microcomputers and PC systems architecture and hardware and prior experience in hardware\firmware validation tools and techniques will be an advantage.
