Melingo is looking for a native Spanish speaker for a position in linguistic editing and QA
Job description:
• Editing a Spanish-English online dictionary
• Writing learning materials for Spanish speakers learning English as a second language
• Preforming manual QA and testing on mobile devices and PCs running various operating systems
• Writing and executing test plans
Requirements:
• Native proficiency in Spanish – must;
• Fluent, native language level English with excellent writing skills – must;
• High-level of comfort with interactive computing environment – must;
• Good understanding of the Web and mobile domains – must;
• Familiar with basic linguistic principles and terms – must;
• Experience in linguistic research or online dictionary development - Advantage;
• Practical experience in database applications and SQL - major advantage;
• Knowledge of QA methodology and documentation - major advantage.
