Taboola is looking for a dedicated, service oriented Technical Support Engineer to provide top-of-the-line service to its clients. The position will require troubleshooting complex web and backend technology issues and thinking both in and out of the box. The Support Engineer will closely with the various teams throughout the company, including R&D, IT Operations and Professional Services becoming an invaluable source of information, solutions and know-how. The support Engineer will also create problem solving tools and will be expected to transfer technical knowledge to other tiers of support, making work flows smother, smarter and constantly improving.
Requirements:
•Experience working in a 2nd or 3rd Support team of a high tech organization – a must. Experience supporting web products – a considerable advantage
•Deep knowledge of internet technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, various browsers, troubleshooting experience) – a must,
•Good understanding of how the internet works: http request/response, cookies etc
•Analytical and familiarity with data – comfortable reaching into a database to explore an issue. SQL experience – a plus
•Experience in software development or QA - a plus, basic knowledge in Unix – a plus
•Impeccable English – both written and spoken skills
•Independent, able to work both alone and with remote teams
•Responsible and reliable
•Superb personal skills and a winning service attitude
